These pictures are from our trip to the Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City, Utah last July. The Tracy Aviary has a cage full of sun conures. The staff gives people apples on sticks to feed the conures.

I love conures, but sun conures are so loud. You could hear them from halfway across the aviary. Below, they have seen the apples.

They're wild enough that I couldn't pet them and snuggle them the way
some sun conures let you, but they perched on my shoulders and hands.

They're not shy.

They liked Jon too.

They were falling over themselves to get at his apples. They also stayed on his back and chewed holes in his shirt before we realized what was happening.
